started nearly seventy years ago manufacturing folding banquet
tables for major hotels. Since that time, our product line and
customer base have expanded greatly. The hundreds of thousands of
tables shipped to our satisfied customers attest to this fact.
As it was seventy years ago, their principles remain the same:
manufacture and sell a quality product at a fair price.
Maywood Furniture was the seventy year manufacturer of the Howe 200
Series® (now called the Maywood Original Series). Howe was bought
out by Falcon. Falcon has also purchased Shelby-King Arthur. The
bottom line is if you want, specifically, the original Howe 200
Series® or the now discontinued King Arthur table, you now must buy
the Maywood Original Series.

Maywood tables are available in either
the Original Series or the Standard Series. Even though both series
use the same 5/8” exterior grade plywood tops, the Original Series
base is certainly stronger. Much of the decision is based on
personal preference and what type of table is best for your
application. The Standard Series is usually purchased for the
restaurant, catering halls, and party rental businesses. A choice of
either an
aluminum or vinyl edge is available with no additional cost. We
recommend the unique crimped aluminum edge for strength and
durability, especially for tables used frequently. Black vinyl
edging is also available upon request.
Maywood can make just about any size or shape you need. Please give
